Samsung hasn’t become known as one of the industries leaders with believing in the idea of maintaining the status quo which leads us into one of the latest rumors on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. They’ve already confirmed that a foldable smartphone is in the works, and could be launched as early as 2016 or 2017. This leads us into one of the latest rumors on the new Samsung Galaxy S8 concept that just may feature a true foldable design.
The new rumors are consistent with what Samsung has already confirmed, but no mention as to which flagship would feature the foldable design or if we would see a new smartphone series all-together. There’s been a lot of speculation the 2017 Galaxy S8 concept would not only be the phone to feature the foldable display, but would also feature dual independent screens.
This rumor is quite unique, and one that needs to be considered, especially considering Sammy looking to shake up the smartphone industry all-together. The popularity of the Galaxy S series has sort of declined in years, and introducing something truly innovative may just be what Samsung needs.
The Galaxy S8 concept is also expected to feature a retina eye scanner that would interface with mobile payment options including Samsung Pay and Android Pay. Being able to securely check out with store information right in the palm of your hands is quickly becoming the wave of the future. As consumers look for ways of having something much more convenient, but more importantly secure is what eye sensing technology will do.
